Car Crashes into KFC at Bangkok Petrol Station
Introduction
On April 25, a BMW sedan crashed into a KFC outlet located inside a Bangchak petrol station on Sukhumvit 62, leaving twelve people injured.

The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. in the Phra Khanong district. Police reported that the driver, a Chinese national named Chen, was waiting in a queue. He then suddenly accelerated to pass other cars to make a U-turn toward a fuel pump. During this move, the BMW hit a Toyota Camry on its rear left side before crashing directly into the KFC restaurant. The impact caused significant damage to the building, breaking glass panels and destroying furniture and the service counter. Twelve people were injured, including the driver, four staff members, two delivery drivers, and five customers. All of them were taken to three local hospitals, where doctors confirmed that none of the injuries were life-threatening. Officers from the Phra Khanong police and volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation are now investigating the crash. They have questioned the driver and witnesses, and they are reviewing CCTV footage to determine exactly how the accident happened.
