On April 25, a BMW sedan collided with a KFC outlet located within a Bangchak petrol station on Sukhumvit 62, resulting in injuries to twelve individuals.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. in the Phra Khanong district. According to police reports, the vehicle, operated by a Chinese national identified as Chen, was positioned in a queue before the driver accelerated to bypass other vehicles in an attempt to execute a U-turn toward an available fuel pump. During this maneuver, the vehicle struck a Toyota Camry on its rear left side before proceeding into the KFC establishment. The impact caused extensive structural damage to the restaurant, specifically involving the destruction of glass panels, furniture, and the service counter. Twelve individuals sustained injuries, including the driver, four restaurant employees, two delivery personnel, and five customers. All affected parties were transported to three local medical facilities; preliminary assessments indicate that no critical injuries were sustained. Law enforcement officials from the Phra Khanong police, supported by Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers, are currently conducting an investigation.
