Problems at Anzac Day Events

Some people were angry at Anzac Day events in Australia. They did not like the ceremonies for Indigenous people.

In Townsville, the event did not have a 'Welcome to Country' ceremony. The leader said he wanted to talk only about soldiers. Some other leaders said this was wrong. Some politicians think these ceremonies happen too often. They say the ceremonies are not special anymore. Other people say this shows a lack of respect for Indigenous soldiers.
