Legend of the Seas starts sea tests
Introduction
The ship Legend of the Seas is in Turku, Finland. It started sea trials. The ship will be ready in July 2026. It will be the first Icon class ship in the Mediterranean Sea.
Main Body
More than 2,000 engineers and specialists test the ship. They check the engines and how the ship moves in the water. The test trip is about 2,400 nautical miles. After the test, the ship goes back to the shipyard for final work. The ship is very big. It can carry 5,610 guests. It has many fun things: six waterslides, more than 20 bars and lounges, a big walkway with ocean views, and an open park. New things on this ship: a show about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a dining experience like a train ride on the old Silk Road, shows by former America''s Got Talent stars, and new shows in the AquaTheater and on ice. There is also new food: Japanese street food, American food, Italian dishes, and a Hollywood dinner club. After the summer in Europe, the ship will go to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It will then take guests to the Caribbean and to the private island Perfect Day at CocoCay.
