The eight-day tour includes 161 riders from 27 countries and 23 teams. The total route covers 1,133 kilometers, starting in Izmir and ending in Ankara on May 3. Race director Vladimiros Petsas claimed that the quality of the event is now similar to major races like the Tour de France. He emphasized that the tour has improved based on previous experience and noted that more people in Türkiye are becoming interested in the sport. Furthermore, he stressed that safety is the most important goal for UCI events.
