Regarding the origin and progression of the fire, officials and a security guard, Shrikant Tripathi, indicated that the blaze commenced near an automated teller machine (ATM) within the ground-floor bank. The fire subsequently extended to the parking area and ascended to the higher floors, where smoke accumulation occurred. This progression resulted in the entrapment of approximately 25 individuals within the fourth-floor gym. Operational outcomes indicate that fire personnel successfully evacuated all trapped individuals, including the 25 persons on the top floor, without any reported casualties. Material damage was limited to several two-wheelers parked in the vicinity of the bank. While the fire has been brought under control, the precise cause of the ignition remains under official investigation.
