🕒 The 'Happened' Timeline

In this story, everything is in the past. To talk about things that are finished, we usually add -ed to the action word.

Look at the pattern:

  • Start → Started
  • Happen → Happened
  • Destroy → Destroyed
  • Arrest → Arrested

⚠️ The 'Odd' Ones

Some words don't follow the -ed rule. You just have to memorize them:

  • Come → Came
  • Leave → Left

Quick Tip for A2: If you see a date or time (like Sunday at 2:00 AM), you almost always need these 'Past' words to tell the story correctly.
