WWE Changes Pay and Workers
Introduction
TKO Group is the owner of WWE. They are changing how they pay people. Some workers are leaving the company.
Main Body
TKO wants to make more money. They asked some wrestlers to take less pay. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods said no. They left the company. Some workers had very little time to sign new contracts. They had only one or two days. This made the workers and their agents worried. WWE now wants young athletes from colleges. They like new stars more than old stars. They are hiring people like Oba Femi and Trick Williams.
Conclusion
WWE wants to save money and find new stars. They do not want to keep old workers.

💸 Money Words
In this story, we see how people talk about money in a job. Look at these patterns:
- Make money To earn profit.
- Save money To keep money / spend less.
- Less pay A lower salary.
🕒 Time Pressure
Notice how the text describes a short amount of time:
"They had only one or two days."
When we use "only" before a number, it tells the reader that the amount is small or surprising.
Example: I have only five dollars. (This is not much money!)
🆕 New vs. Old
Comparing things is a key A2 skill. See the contrast here:
| Old | New |
|---|---|
| Old stars | Young athletes |
| Old workers | New stars |
Rule: Use "more than" to show a preference. "They like new stars more than old stars."
