Police Investigate Triple Homicide at Bulandshahr Fitness Center
Introduction
Police in Uttar Pradesh are investigating the deaths of three people after a shooting occurred during a social gathering at a gym in Khurja town.
Main Body
The incident took place late Saturday night at the RJS Fitness Gym during a birthday party hosted by the gym owner, Jeetu Saini. According to police reports, a verbal argument broke out around 11:00 PM between Jeetu Saini and two guests, Amardeep and Manish. After the fight, Jeetu Saini reportedly left the building and returned with a licensed gun. He shot and killed Amardeep and Manish at close range, and also shot 19-year-old Akash in the head as he tried to leave the area. All three victims were relatives of a local councillor. Authorities believe the suspect tried to hide evidence by removing the surveillance system's digital video recorder (DVR) before fleeing. As a result, senior police officials have deployed six specialized teams to find the suspect. Furthermore, police have detained over 15 people for questioning and are analyzing external CCTV footage to understand exactly what happened. Regarding the cause of the violence, Circle Officer Shashank Srivastava emphasized that alcohol and tobacco were found at the scene, suggesting that intoxication may have caused the conflict to escalate. While the fight at the party was the immediate cause, investigators are also looking into other motives. These include a long-term rivalry over a community building and possible political connections. Additionally, police are checking the gym owner's criminal record, as a person with the same name is currently in prison for a previous attempted murder case.
Conclusion
The investigation is ongoing. The primary suspect is still missing, and authorities are working to confirm the exact motive for the crimes.
