Seven Politicians Leave AAP for BJP
Introduction
Seven members of the Rajya Sabha left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). They joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Now, AAP has fewer people in the Upper House.

Seven people left AAP on Friday. Raghav Chadha and six others joined the BJP. Mr. Chadha said AAP changed its rules. Bhagwant Mann is the leader of Punjab. He says these people are not honest. Some people say Raghav Chadha had too much power before. They say he acted like a boss in Punjab. Other people say the members were unhappy. They did not like how the party chose leaders in 2022. AAP supporters are angry. They wrote on the houses of some members in Jalandhar and Ludhiana. The Punjab government took away the security guards for two members. The central government sent new police to protect one member's house.

AAP now has fewer members in the Rajya Sabha. The two parties are now fighting.
