South Korea and Iran Talk About Ships

Introduction

A man from South Korea named Chung Byung-ha went to Iran. He talked to Iranian leaders. They talked about ships and how to work together.

Chung Byung-ha arrived in Tehran on April 11. He met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. Many South Korean ships are stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. There are 26 ships and 173 workers there. This area is important for oil and gas. South Korea gave 500,000 dollars to help people. The leaders of South Korea and Iran talked on the phone two times in 2024. Iran says the ships cannot move for safety. Iran says the US and Israel broke rules. South Korea does not want to pay money to get the ships back.

Conclusion

Both countries want to be friends. They want the workers to be safe. But the ships cannot move until the countries solve their problems.
