Frankfurt Airport Opens New Terminal 3

Introduction

Frankfurt Airport in Germany has a new building. It is called Terminal 3. It is now open for passengers.

The building cost 4 billion euros. Workers built it for more than ten years. It is very big and has a lot of glass. The project took longer than the plan because of a global health problem. Now, 20 million people can use this terminal every year. 57 airlines are moving to this new building. This includes Condor and China Southern Airlines. The boss of the airport, Stefan Schulte, is happy. He says Germany can build big things. But some people are not happy. Some groups say the airport makes too much noise. They say it is bad for the air and the earth.
